We’re a little restaurant lucky to call the (very) pretty town of Berry our home. With rolling vineyards for views, we have seasonal menus that celebrate fresh produce and regional providores.
When food is fresh you don’t need tricks – it’s pretty delicious and perfect just as it is. We keep things simple – classic.
You can see our love for European food sprinkled throughout the menus. It’s no surprise given our new co-owner and Chef, Andrew Hickie, arrived to our kitchen after travelling the globe cheffing for the likes of Oprah, Tony Blair, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and Ellen De Generes.
At Silos Restaurant our food is contemporary. It’s honest and fresh, farm-style food. Our menus reflect the way we like to dine. You’ll see (and taste) that our dishes can be enjoyed all to yourself, or share-style for a true feast.
Silos Restaurant is recently revamped by proud new owners, “Smithy and The Chef” – Chef Andrew and his wife and our General Manager, Sarah (a homecoming for this Bomaderry gal).
We love our original brick floors, they’re a little bumpy. And the high annex ceilings? They support four sparkling chandeliers nowadays. We have two Silos that used to store the grains 80 years ago. Today one cellars our restaurant wines and the other our Wine Bar. Yes, we have a Wine Bar! So now you can start your foodie adventure earlier before settling to your table, or retire with a Cognac and play cards.
During the winter we have an open fire and in summer, dine al fresco to soak up views of the South Coast countryside (and the local alpacas). You may say we are country cuisine at its best.
But hey, don’t just take our word for it. See you at @silosrestaurantberry
